About Us

The Bead Cafe' opened it's doors February 1, 2007.  Vera Yardley and Gina Meggyesy started this venture together.  Vera has moved on, while Gina and her husband Steve took over January 1, 2010.  Judy Pine, who has been with the store since it first opened, is now the manager and running the store.

We are a full service retail bead shop.  We strive to provide a comfortable, yet stimulating, environment to inspire the beginning as well as advanced designer.  Our customers are invited to stay and design their earrings, necklace, bracelet, etc. at one of our seven work tables (no charge!) all supplied with the tools needed to complete each unique design.

We carry, Swarovski Crystal, Czech Glass, Semi-Precious, Pandora compatible, Miyuki Seed Beads, paper, fimo, tools, findings, wire, and so much more.  Stop in and look around, you won't be disappointed!
